I miss my Dad. He passed away on July 4, 2011. He was always full of good advice and concern for his children and grandchildren. He prayed for us continually and we felt safe because of his prayers. He loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He served faithfully in his calling over the Stake Records. He loved his country and was very patriotic. My last telephone conversation was about his ancestors and he answered some questions I had about them. I hope I can live my life in such a way that he would be proud.

Congratulation Steve on your graduation from Utah State. What an honor it was to attend the Campus in Logan Utah and see you receive your bachelor degree in the Huntsman College of Business. May your future be bright. We love you.

We saw Maddy and Joey perform AIDA at the Spanish Fork Jr. High Little Theater, this past March 2011. What a great play it was! Thanks Maddy and Joey for sharing your talents.

It was so much fun to be in Utah and see the great Play that Gage was in. It was about the great movement to settle to west and how wonderful it is to live in Utah. I feel as though I have 2 places that feel like home. One is Missouri and one of course is in Utah where my heart is with every member of my family that lives there.

Lea, Gage, Elise, Mason....a bundle of joy! How I miss them. Anyone want to buy a house in Mo., so we can go home to our family that we miss? Every one of these kids can play a song for you on the piano....at least they could last summer when I was there. Time for another piano lesson!!!

When I was about 3 years old we moved to Las Vegas and became very good friends with the Huntington's. This is Scott and Steve and I as we were dressed up for a summer parade. Soon the Huntington's had a baby girl named Linda who became my best friend. They have always been like family to us.

This is the tree that sits in front of our house.....it has survived 60 mile an hour winds, it was even struck by lightning, it has lost many of its beautiful branches....it has been threatened that it should be removed all together because it isn't strong enough to survive another storm. I say it is strong enough and has proven it's strength many times. Experts predicted it would surely die after the last storm which was the strongest wind and the coldest ice. It didn't die because I believe it wants to live. I remember the birds that build nests in it's limbs and the picnic that children had in its shade and maybe it somehow feels loved. So our tree will go on surviving and teaching us how to be strong in our trials. By next month it will have it's leaves again and it will be beautiful. I can't wait to see how it will fill out with rich green lace, like it has every spring.

WE ARE SO PROUD OF BRYNN....this is a lovely granddaughter inside and out. She is sweet and precious and just turned eight years old. We can't wait to attend her baptism and enjoy her special fun spirit. How blessed we are to have her as our own.

I HAVE A GRANDSON NAMED JOEY THAT IS KNOWN FOR HIS FUNNY FACES, but in reality he is a smart and talented kid. He plays the piano like a pro and has accomplished his Eagle Scout already. He is kind and sensitive to others and is helpful and unselfish. I am very proud of him. Love u Joey.
